CEO William Delgado Issues Shareholder Letter on Changes in Executive Management, Future Plans

Former United States Senator Scott Brown Will Provide Strategic Counsel To Global Digital Solutions, Inc. As A Member Of The Company’s Advisory Board

Senator Brown will draw on his extensive government experience at the state and federal levels and his longtime service in the Army National Guard to provide advice and guidance to the GDSI executive leadership team related to the company’s overall global strategy

PALM BEACH, Fla., September 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Digital Solutions, Inc. (GDSI), a company that is positioning itself as a leader in providing small arms manufacturing, complementary security and technology solutions and knowledge-based, cyber-related, culturally attuned social consulting in unsettled areas, announced today that Scott Brown, former United States Senator from Massachusetts, has joined the company’s Advisory Board.

“We’re thrilled to have someone with Scott Brown’s national stature and extensive government experience on our Advisory Board,” said GDSI’s President and CEO Richard J. Sullivan.  “Scott’s leadership roles at both the state and federal levels – with a consistent focus on security-related issues – and his longtime service in the Army National Guard give him great perspective, experience and relationships that will be very helpful to GDSI going forward.”

During his U. S. Senate career, Senator Brown served on three committees dealing with security and veterans issues:  The Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.

“I’m very excited about joining GDSI’s growing team of expert advisors,” commented Senator Brown.  “I applaud Dick Sullivan and the entire GDSI team for their bold strategic vision.  It’s vitally important to me that we’re boosting U.S. manufacturing and security while addressing issues related to job creation, innovation and advanced cyber technology.”

As previously announced, the GDSI Advisory Board now includes former Florida Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, international financing expert Edwin Wang, and strategic financial advisor Matthew Kelley.  In a sign of confidence in GDSI’s significant growth opportunity, and to ensure that they are aligned with the interests of shareholders, all members of the Advisory Board will receive equity instead of cash compensation.  Jennifer Carroll is expected to become President and Chief Operating Officer of GDSI.
